Office 2007 RTM’ed this morning so I’ve been looking throughout the day for news on .NET 3.0.
And, yes, it came out too. Here.
I got what I wanted: the release of .NET 3.0 has been decoupled from Vista. Of course, Vista is in escrow and will RTM within a few weeks so it isn’t that decoupled.
Anyway, congratulations to the teams for getting this done!

I was curious if you see any technology coming out of Windows Workflow which you might integrate into the Digipede Network? Also (unrelated), have you or a client ever used Digipede Network with asynchronous tasks in ASP.NET 2.0?
Thanks.
We are certainly interested in using Windows Workflow Foundation in a future version of the Digipede Network. If we are working on a design for the next major version (i.e., version 2.0) that would take advantage of both WF and Windows Communications Foundation.
In terms of asynchronous tasks, are you talking about putting a Web services front-end on to the Digipede Network? I recently co-authored an article that discusses an approach to that. You can find that here: Scaling SOA with Distributed Computing.
