My experience with MS and Windows for personal use has been that every other release is better. Windows 95 was nice, Windows ME a disaster, Windows XP has been great, Vista I'm avoiding like the plague. If Windows 7 makes much-needed improvements and updates without taking a perfectly good CPU and turning it to sludge, I'm all for it.
